The Return To Monkey Island is an unexpected and thrilling return for series the series’ creator Ron Gilbert that continues the epic story of the legendary adventure games The Secret of Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge made in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games.

There have been a long time when Guybrush Threepwood was last locked in a war of words against his foe, the Zombie Pirate LeChuck. His love of his life, Elaine Marley, has switched her attention away from ruling and Guybrush himself is on the run and unfulfilled. He has never discovered the Secret of Monkey Island. Young, hip pirates led by Captain Madison has snubbed the old guard from power, Melee Island has taken a negative turn and renowned businessman Stan has been incarcerated due to “marketing-related offenses”.

Banter with old friends and meet new people in familiar locales that are now under a new and dangerous leadership. After that, you’ll travel to the open seas and find out what’s new while trying to solve difficult problems.
