Wayward Strand A deeply emotional, and empathetic narrative, is a result of many threads. The story takes place at an airborne hospital in Australia during the during the 1970s.
Wayward Strand lets you take the part of Casey Beaumaris, an adolescent girl that visits the hospital for her first visit in a while. Through three days, she’ll look into the background of the ship, its daily lives of the inhabitants as well as their connections to one another.
She can explore the ships rooms, and get to know the interesting and quirky residents. The staff can be shadowed and look around, or you could explore the vessel and discover the dark history of the ship.
The hospital’s residents are a diverse group of people – some charming, some strange, some a bit rude each with their own desires as well as goals and fantasies. The residents do what they’d like to do, regardless of the persona of their character.
The 3-day time period Casey has on board the vessel allows her to observe the lives of the different characters. Casey can then investigate. Each character behaves and acts according to their own schedule. They share news, opinions, gossip as well as arguing, laughing, or simply having a chat with Casey.
