Know by Heart Game Review

“Know by heart” …” is an interactive game that focuses on accepting the losing. The story, the music along with the simple gameplay and dramatic mini-games all work together to create the illusion of returning briefly to early childhood, only to grow up and the sensation of passing time.

The tranquil Russian town life allows players to immerse themselves in the culture and history of this village.

Misha is the main protagonist. He is trapped in a monotonous work that seems to never end. But, on a particular day, he is shocked when his crush at school comes back to town. The first time in years Misha gets a chance to break free from the monotony of his everyday life. An unsettling and brief episode of the town’s life is interspersed with the story of a gang of childhood pals coming back to one another. They are forced to walk down the memories streets to revive their bond. However, their old memories and even the bonds that bind them together are a danger.

Ayrat Zakirov Ice-Pick Lodge’s CEO, runs this nostalgic endeavor. The game’s events will happen in Russia. After an extended absence, Misha is set to be reunited with his friends from his youth. They will reunite with their childhood friends, Misha, to relive old memories and discover common ground. But, the joyous reunion will soon be overshadowed by circumstances beyond their influence.
