Wayward Strand A deeply emotional, and empathetic narrative, is created from many threads. It is set within an airborne medical facility in Australia during the 1970s.
Wayward Strand lets you take on the role of Casey Beaumaris, an adolescent patient who comes to the hospital for her first experience. Over the course of three days, you will examine the story of the ship, the daily lives of the inhabitants as well as their connections to one another.
After arriving, she is able to go to the homes of the ship’s eccentric and delightful residents, choosing whom she would like to spend in the company of, and learn about them. It is possible to shadow the staff and explore the space, or you can explore the ship to discover its dark past.
The residents of the hospital are an eclectic cast of characters with some who are delightful, while others are eccentric, some rude – each one with his own set of desires as well as goals and fantasies. They can do whatever they want in complete independence of their character.
The 3-day time period Casey spends on the ship lets her be a part of the lives of other characters, which Casey can then investigate. Each person moves and behaves in their own way with their own unique timeline sharing stories with one others, expressing opinions; fighting; joking; gossiping – or chatting with Casey whenever she stops close.
Casey will be exploring the airship’s many stories and see how her actions create an effect on them.
The Living World The entire story is retold in real time, as they are told throughout the entire ship.
